[North Carolina Shallow Water Giant Bluefin Tuna
DESTROYER put down his tool belt and flew up from Costa Rica to take a crack at this Wicked Tuna game he sees on TV. He joined forces with KNIGHT RIDER, a Wrightsville Beach local, and they went out fishing with @GrassySoundCharters and Capt. Anthony Procida. They had hopes of simply encountering one of these sea monsters of the Atlantic! On Day 1 of 3, they got bit after only 45 minutes of waiting and it was game on. These two Mates alternated putting the heat on this tuna that measured 101 inches and cored out at 458 pounds. That is an over 8.5 feet and 600 pound beast of a fish. They have declared themselves the STATE CHAMPS of Giant Bluefin Tuna Fishing in the 600+ pound Division. They vow to return next season to defend their title!
