In this video, we will be fixing the ERR_GEN_INVALID Corrupt Game Data.
This error mostly occurs when you remove the ASI loader, and Open IV dot ASI plugins, from the ASI manager in Open I V.
When you remove mods from GTA 5, sometimes the game files may be deleted in the background, and this error may occur.
But there are instances, when people got this error, without even using a single mod in the first place.
To fix this error, you can do two things.
FIX 1: You can simply reinstall ASI loader, and Open I V dot ASI plugins, in the ASI manager of Open I V.
Launch the game and it works. But this fix makes your game a modded version.
FIX 2: If you want to fix this error without using mods, then right-click on the Grand Theft Auto 5 shortcut on your desktop, and select properties.
In the target field, add a space at the end, and write verify.
Click on OK to close the properties.
Now launch the game using this shortcut.
Your game files will be verified and any missing files will be placed in your GTA 5 folder automatically.
After the verification completes, your game will start to work.
