In horror survival game Darkwood: While the plague spread and the trees blockaded the roads out of the forest, some villages and their townsfolk were trapped in the forest and had to find a way to survive their new circumstances. The main source of food for the village became pork, or a form of pork. The sow was a giant mutated pig of unknown origins, capable of mass birthing pigs for the slaughter. The sow, also known as the mother of all pigs, was cared for by the pig farmer, since only he knew how and what to feed her.
