[GTA 5 game play testing on HP Zbook 17 G3 laptop | VGA output capture
A short GTA 5 game play captured from the HP Zbook 17 G3 VGA output. Windows display is configured in Duplicate mode. A VGA to HDMI converter is used to convert the VGA output to HDMI. Audio is tapped from the 3.5mm audio output and plugged into the converter. The capturing is done using an external standalone HDMI capture card (EZCAP282).
The video output configured in this windows display mode for screen capturing yields the best results. There’s no game stutter as compared with capturing from the HDMI output. You can check out the HDMI output capture here:

Captured using external standalone HDMI capture box EZCAP282. This particular old HDMI capture box seems to have been replaced by another model EZCAP284. Its an inexpensive HDMI Full HD HDMI capture solution.
